The first is to present a picture of Kohukohu to the world. The internet gives us a huge opportunity to reach out to people across the world. We want this to be a useful site for intending visitors. Here they can find a little bit of history, information about local places and activities, where to go for culture, food and accommodation, and something about the people who live and work here.
The second function of the website is to provide information to the local community. To make this work the information needs to be current. On the previous website we relied on people updating their own information. For the new look website, all you need to do is email me and I will update your information or announce your event within two days.
If you notice anything that needs changing, would like to add a page, have an ad or an event to announce drop me a line on the contact form.
The Kohukohu website has been given as a gift to the community by Peter and Lesley Huckle. We would love as many people as possible to get involved. There can never be too much information out there. Knowledge is empowering.
