The Fell Boathouse


The Fell Boathouse is found across the road from the Hokianga Harbour water front in a central Kohukohu Village location. This historic grade 2 building has been sensitively restored by Australian artist Louisa Geddes over the past 12 years. Art work originals adorn the walls and eclectic antiques add to the atmosphere. The boathouse is fully self contained with bench top oven and grill with gas hob. An industrial sink suits the ambiance of the boat shed

The bathroom features a copper hand basin and European claw foot bath with hand shower attachment. A gas califont provides continuous hot water with rain water tank collection. The toilet is operated by a macerator system usually found on boats. The wood burner provides heating in the winter months There is a linen maid for drying of clothes. Linens crockery and all cooking utensils are provided. There is a queen size bed and a King single with wardrobe provision The property does not suit mobility impaired, very young children or pets due to road side location. This waterfront location features prolific marine life and boating activity.
